Dan Wallace,author of many celebrated Star Wars works,including the new Star Wars:Battles for the Galaxy and Star Wars:The Essential Atlas will be at the Hernando Public Library in Hernando,MS on May 5th at 6:30pm for an appearance in connection with what has become our holiday,May the 4th.

For those of you who were with us in 2007 at Dan’s appearance at the Memphis Public Library,you’ll remember that Dan is a joy to talk to and really knows his Star Wars stuff.

Race for the CureRace for the Cure

SMT members will be participating in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure on Saturday,October 30 at The Shops of Saddle Creek in Germantown.

MidSouthCon 28 is rapidly approaching,and SMT members will be turning out in force!  Many of our members will be moderating panels,attending as guests,or working behind the scenes to ensure the convention is the most successful to date.

Kevin J. Anderson,a prolific writer whose work includes Star Wars comics,novels and short stories,is the Author Co-Guest of Honor.  He shares the title with his wife,Rebecca Moesta,who wrote the Star Wars Junior Jedi Knights series.
